The very best Japanese food ever. So fresh and so Authentic. The shop has little sitting area but mostly takeaway. I have ordered about 15 times in the last 2 months in have been here. Its our go to lunch. The quantity is soo good for the price you pay.

This was THE BEST Kasu Curry I have had outside of Japan. Seriously, I was not expecting true japanese food in North Lakes of all places. Also the staff were so friendly!! I will be going back.... probably more than I care to admit.

Probably the best Japanese takeaway in the area (and even further beyond that to be honest). The food is always good no matter what I order and it's always presented nicely. If I could eat here more often I would (it's just a little bit too pricey especially for delivery). They got a cute mascot too so bonus points for that.

Seriously the best Japanese food since we came back from Japan. We had a taste of the freshness that we missed so very much, such fresh food, large portion sizes for value, really kind service even when busy. We miss Japan, and we felt at home here. Almost took home seconds for the following day. Highly highly recommended!

I recently visited Hako Japanese Restaurant, and it was an incredible experience. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted just like authentic Japanese cuisine! We tried the karaage chicken, the katsu rice bowl, and the beef yakisoba noodles, and each dish was packed with flavor and made fresh to order. Hako is more of a takeaway spot, but there are a couple of small tables inside if you’d like to dine in. The atmosphere is simple and cozy, perfect for a quick, satisfying meal. The service was fantastic—friendly, efficient, and attentive. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. The karaage chicken was crispy and tender, drizzled with a perfectly balanced sauce and mayo. The katsu rice bowl was beautifully presented, topped with fresh avocado slices and sesame seeds, while the beef yakisoba noodles were savory and cooked to perfection. Everything was made fresh, and it was evident in the quality of the food. Whether you’re looking for a quick takeaway meal or a casual dine-in experience, Hako is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back for more! ????????

I had lunch with my family a few days ago. The store was really clean, and all the staff were really friendly. My family had karage chicken, salmon poke, and beef bento, and it was really fresh and delicious. I sure will come back again!

The best deal for your money! Bento boxes are amazing, and the seafood, and vegetables always taste fresh. If only it was open later and closer, I'd be there all the time. Definitely worth picking up a great meal!
